Karl Lagerfeld recently granted Architectural Digest access to his stunning modern Parisian apartment, resulting in this series of images. 

The abode is situated along the Left Bank in an 1820′s building that underwent a hefty renovation to appear as it does now – an airy mix of glass and metal and natural and electric light. It seems the perfect match for its owner’s taste and personality. Closer look after the jump:

60sforever: Michael Fassbender The perfect leather jacket. For some time now, I’ve been going from store to store trying to shop for a virtuosic, incomplex & unmitigated black leather jacket. And that proved to be such an ennui task! Incogitable, right?! Wrong, all the ones I’ve been seeing aren’t exactly in my artery- Think Vegan/thrift store shopper/hipster/I take pictures of everything and I prefer sitting on pavements typa things. Long tale short; they’re too punk rock for me. I’ll pray harder to the mode gods and I believe they’ll bless me with a more simple & minimal black leather jacket. Just like the one in the above pic. Amen.
